Simple Homemade Advent Wreath

Image
This is a simple advent wreath made with a simple glass plate and four glass candles. The holly leaves along with the red cherries and cone pines are from another decor I got. So I used them to make this advent wreath. In the middle of the four candles I have added a clay pot to make the wreath more decorative.

Multidotted Bottle

Image
This is just another bottle painting. Very simple, just dip your brush tip into the colour bottle and add to the bottle at Random locations to form dots. Continue until the entire bottle has been covered. I used primary colours red, green, blue and yellow. The top half of the bottle is painted directly with mixes of pink, green and yellow.

Black Dotted Multi Colored Bottle

Image
This painting is very simple on a Jack Daniel bottle. Firstly Wash the bottle well.then smear colors towards the inside of the bottle, allow the colors to smear as the smeared colors move downwards towards the inner walls of the bottle. Repeat the smearing of colors until the entire bottle gets covered. On the outside of the bottle I have added some nice large black dots to blend with the inner light background colors.

Square and Brush Design Dark Bottle Painting

Image
I found this narrow neck and round bottom shaped dark bottle. Thought of painting squares of different colors at the bottom and brush strokes pressed above. Have a look at my bottle.

The Red Floral Bottle

Image
I have painted this bottle red using ceramic colors, a total bright red and used combinations of blue, yellow and green colors to make the flowers and tiny petals in the foreground. I have just pressed across the brush to make the flower petal combinations onto the red background. Have a look at my art below.

Branched Tree Glass Bottle Painting

Image
As you see this bottle has a narrow neck and a broad bottom. I have drawn an outline of a tree with branches using a black glass outliner. Then I have added different coloured dots to depict flowers and fruits. I have smeared colors of yellow and orange all over the bottle with a brush to have the the colors of t sun's rays. I have let the outline and the dots dry first before smearing the colors the onto the background of d bottle. On the other side of the bottle I have outlined a flower with four small butterflies. This is my idea of this bottle....

Christmas Green Bottle Painting

A Green bottle.... I could only imagine a Christmas tree. So here I go... A Long green bottle and ceramic colors of black, white, red and blue is what I used. I made the Christmas tree outlines with colors white and black. The inner and outer fillings are with red, blue, white, black etc. The stars and Christmas balls are added to fill the tree. With Christmas on the way this was the best I could think to get my green bottle painted.

Christmas Candles Old Monk Glass Bottle Painting

Image
As I looked into a heap of glass bottles piled up in the backyard, I thought to myself are these of any use. As I went closer to check in each and every glass bottle. I really felt amazed by all the different shapes, sizes and colors. I got inspired why not try adding colors to these bottles. Glass painting was something I had never tried before so I thought why not explore now. So here I go.... I started off with an Old Monk bottle. As the bottle has its own collage work, I just needed to add in some different colors onto each and every bit. I thought I shall draw some candles along with some holly leaves below with a background of stars and colourful balls. Just made this bottle a bit christmassy as we are nearing Christmas soon... Yet to explore more of glass bottle painting... Tune in for more...

Pot Decoration using Tiny Glitter Bits

Image
Well, to begin with, I am always fascinated with pottery, lots of pots in different shapes and sizes. Moreover, I like the tiny pottery they make nowadays, it amazes me. I love to collect these round earthen pots, also called as matkas in Hindi. These pots are small in size and sold with a frozen Indian dessert 'kulfi' therefore they are called matka kulfi. I had a collection of these tiny glitter bits. These glitters are used for birthday and wedding parties. They are filled into the party poppers or sometimes into balloons. And so by popping the poppers or bursting the balloons, comes a glittery shower. Children love collecting these bits during these above occasions mentioned. I applied some craft glue to the entire earthen pot on the outside. And then I rolled the pot across the glitter bits which I placed on the newspaper. I made sure that most of the glitters were stuck to the pot. Yet, some empty spaces did remain , of which I did a touch up later. I have deco...

This is a very simple form of leaf painting using direct colors of your choice.  I Just love Leaf Painting  ❤❤❤❤❤❤ . Pot Painting with Nail Polish and Foundation

Image
In this art, I have used a small mud pot already having a design of a tree and a boat. Please note just in case you have no design, you can make any design of your own. All you need here is any old or unused foundations from your makeup set and any colored nail polish which is old or unused. Do keep a cloth ready when you are working. We first use our fingers and spread the foundation on the entire pot, so that this forms a nice shiny background. The foundation sometimes appears to be a bit sticky or wet. We need to dry the pot for around three days in the sun or just keep it to dry without the sun also, this may take another two days or so. Once the foundation has dried, we are ready to use the nail polish on the pot. We now go ahead and paint the outline using nail polish. We can also paint the inner content of the tree. Allow the pot to dry for a day or so. And now you are ready to go. Do try this out. You can always use any old nail polish or makeup accesso...

Unused Wine Glass as a Vase

Image
I just happened to find old Wine Glasses lying unused in the cupboard. So I thought why not use them as decorative vases with flowers. As these glasses already had a design on it, I dint find it necessary to do anything more on it. I thought to leave it to its original self. So I added some water into it, picked some flowers from the garden and there you go   ................... A Beautiful Flower Vase is ready. Do Check Out if you have anything like this. Go on ....  Lets do it........
