Simple Homemade Advent Wreath

Image
This is a simple advent wreath made with a simple glass plate and four glass candles. The holly leaves along with the red cherries and cone pines are from another decor I got. So I used them to make this advent wreath. In the middle of the four candles I have added a clay pot to make the wreath more decorative.

Christmas Green Bottle Painting

Image
A Green bottle.... I could only imagine a Christmas tree. So here I go... A Long green bottle and ceramic colors of black, white, red and blue is what I used. I made the Christmas tree outlines with colors white and black. The inner and outer fillings are with red, blue, white, black etc. The stars and Christmas balls are added to fill the tree. With Christmas on the way this was the best I could think to get my green bottle painted.

Blue Christmas Glass Diya Wine bottle Painting

Image
As I explore glass bottle painting... I found a Diya bottle in our backyard trash. I thought I should try this out. So here I go... I used some left over ceramic colors directly onto the bottle. I did not mix any water into the colors. The top part is painted white with shades of blue below and the bottom painted black. The bottle is decorated with some glitter beads of pink and silver.... This Bottle can be used as a decorative for Christmas as well having the blue and white Christmas colors.... Lets explore more of glass bottle painting. I'm just loving it....

Christmas Candles Old Monk Glass Bottle Painting

Image
As I looked into a heap of glass bottles piled up in the backyard, I thought to myself are these of any use. As I went closer to check in each and every glass bottle. I really felt amazed by all the different shapes, sizes and colors. I got inspired why not try adding colors to these bottles. Glass painting was something I had never tried before so I thought why not explore now. So here I go.... I started off with an Old Monk bottle. As the bottle has its own collage work, I just needed to add in some different colors onto each and every bit. I thought I shall draw some candles along with some holly leaves below with a background of stars and colourful balls. Just made this bottle a bit christmassy as we are nearing Christmas soon... Yet to explore more of glass bottle painting... Tune in for more...

My Christmas Spirit

Halfway through the month of December and the excitement is reaching its peak. Christmas is a joyous time of the year when people get together with families and friends to share their love, their time, special gifts and a lot more. But its more than just togetherness. It’s a time when people must remember that God gave us a gift of Salvation through the life, death and resurrection of Christ and every December we celebrate the birth of the Saviour of the World. Our celebration begins with the setting up of a Christmas tree, decorations and festive lightings. These bring focus to the Christmas crib, where we let our imagination, historic knowledge and our faith work to physically build a small replica of the place where Jesus Christ was born. This along with the carols and the prayers raise the spiritual essence of the joy of Christmas along with the pomp, the joyous meals and merrymaking. We choose the most prominent corner of the house where no eye can ever pass without app
